Following an external review of the operation of GLEN, the board has concluded that they do not currently have the organisational capacity or funding to continue their work. Three employees are being made redundant. The charity was surrounded in controversy last month when it emerged that the Charities Regulator was looking into its finances and has requested three years of credit card statements and accounts. The announcement comes a month after Glen's chairperson, Kieran Rose, resigned.

Trinity graduate facing up to 20 years in Greek jail on human trafficking charges Independent. Sean Binder 24 , from Togher, Co Cork is facing the lengthy term after Greek police arrested him and colleague Sarah Mardini on suspicion of human trafficking, money laundering, espionage and being a member of a criminal organisation. A graduate in political science, economics, sociology and philosophy at Trinity, Mr Binder also gained a masters in international relations theory at the London School of Economics. He was arrested in February in Lesbos but returned to Ireland on several occasions.
